April is our biggest release yet. We added entire systems that most platforms charge separately for — online booking, full double-entry accounting, and bank reconciliation — plus a long list of workflow improvements across estimates, invoices, contacts, and security. Here is everything that shipped.

Online Booking — Built Right Into Your Profile

Your public profile page now doubles as a booking page. Customers can see your available slots and book directly, with no back-and-forth scheduling over text or email.

Here is how it works:

There is no monthly booking tool fee and no per-appointment charge. It is included in your WrkOrdr plan.

Full Accounting System

WrkOrdr now includes double-entry bookkeeping built directly into the platform. This is not a simplified income tracker — it is a real accounting system.

The best part: invoices, payments, and expenses auto-post as you work. Your books stay current without extra effort. You do the work, WrkOrdr keeps the ledger accurate.

Bank Reconciliation

Connect your bank account through Plaid, the same secure infrastructure used by most major fintech apps. WrkOrdr pulls your transactions automatically and matches them against your ledger.

Unmatched transactions become journal entries in one click. No more manual reconciliation in spreadsheets, no more wondering if your books match your bank. The reconciliation dashboard shows matched, unmatched, and pending transactions at a glance so you always know where you stand.

Work Groups

Organize work log entries by job. Create a group, assign entries as you log work, and see everything for a specific project in one place — total hours, who worked on it, and when.

Mark groups complete when the job is done. Groups can span multiple customers, which is useful for projects that involve coordinating across sites or accounts. This gives you a clear, organized view of labor allocation without changing how you log work day to day.

Multi-Contact Management and Multi-Recipient Invoicing

You can now store multiple contacts per customer — office manager, billing contact, site supervisor, or anyone else involved. Each contact gets their own name, email, phone, and role.

When sending invoices or estimates, pick recipients from a dropdown instead of typing email addresses manually. Each person gets their own email. The communication log now tracks which specific contact you spoke with, so your records are precise.

This is especially useful for commercial clients and property management companies where the person approving work is not the same person paying the bill.

SMS Security on Financial Data

Books, Bank Reconciliation, and the Admin Dashboard are now protected with SMS-based verification. When you access these sections, WrkOrdr texts a one-time code to your phone. Enter it, and you are verified for the rest of your session so your daily workflow is not interrupted.

This adds a meaningful layer of protection to your most sensitive business data without slowing you down. Simple, fast, and secure.

Estimates and Invoices Redesigned

Both the estimates and invoices pages have been rebuilt with a modern card layout and tab-based organization.

Estimates

Estimates now follow a draft-first workflow with 5 tabs: Drafts, Pending, Sent, Approved, and Declined. Create a draft, review it, and send when ready. No more accidentally sending an incomplete estimate.

Invoices

Invoices get 4 tabs: Drafts, Pending, Sent, and Paid. The same draft-first approach applies — build the invoice, review it, then send.

Both pages share a unified filter bar, a status-dependent More menu with contextual actions, and a layout that eliminates horizontal scrolling on mobile. Everything you need is visible without side-scrolling or squinting at tiny text.

Smarter Invoice Generation

When generating an invoice from the work log, WrkOrdr now handles the details more intelligently:

These changes mean less manual editing after generating an invoice and more accurate billing out of the box.
